VALLEY GLEN - Women's Soccer bounced back from a losing streak with a 1-0 win over West L.A.
It did not take long for the Monarchs to get on the board when Andrea Martin (pictured) scored the lone, winning goal in the eighth minute of the game. Martin's kick came from the right side of the field and landed in the upper right corner of the net.
The Monarchs took several more shots on goal but were just wide, just high and blocked by West L.A.'s goalie.
Monarchs Women's Soccer will travel to Bakersfield on Friday, October 13 for a game against the Renegades at 4:00 p.m.
