Bio

Coach Jiron enters her second season as an assistant coach for the Monarchs women’s basketball program. She is responsible for team academics and post development.

She is a local product having graduated from Granada Hills Charter High School in 2017. During her time at Granada she was first team all-league and was also presented with Most Valuable Player of the year her senior year.

In fall 2017, Coach Jiron attended Los Angeles Valley College and played under Coach Monica Hang. In her three years attending Valley she was named First Team All-Conference in her 2017-2018 and 2019-20 season. She graduated Valley with three AA’s including two for Psychology. She then transferred to Eastern Nazarene College while continuing to pursue her basketball and academic career. In 2022, Coach Jiron graduated from Eastern Nazarene College with a Bachelor of Psychology and a minor in Sports Management. She is currently working on her Master’s degree at California Baptist University in Sports Psychology and Sports Performance.
