Men's Water Polo Sweeps Weekend in Merced Tourament

MERCED, CA - The Los Angeles Valley College Men's Water Polo team began their 2023 campaign in sweeping fashion, winning all four games played in the Merced Tournament.

The Monarchs began the day with a close win over Sierra Community College, 11-10.  They followed up with another close win over UC Merced, 11-8.

Saturday saw the Monarchs get two blow outs in the pool - a 20-3 dominating win over Diablo Valley Community College and a 17-5 victory over Modesto Community College.

Great start to the season for the Men's Water Polo team! The Monarchs next game will be their 2023 home opener on Friday, September 16 at 6:00 p.m. versus San Diego Miramar.
