Men's Basketball moves to 3-0 in Conference

VALLEY VILLAGE - Men's Basketball moved to 3-0 in the Western State Conference after a dominant 75-57 win over Glendale, Wednesday night.

The Monarchs jumped to a lead right away, going up by 10 just five minutes into the game. The first half was dominated by three of Andre Parris's four made threes in the game.  Good ball movement and high percentage shots allowed Valley to extended their lead and went into the half up 46-28.  

Second half play was highlighted by Nikko Rodriguez (pictured), who came off the bench and scored an impressive double-double, scoring 15 points and collecting 10 rebounds.  After a bit of a sloppy start to the second half, the Monarchs cleaned up play and nailed down the almost 20 point win.

The Men hit the road on Saturday for a Western State Conference match-up at Citrus.  Tip off is at 5:30 p.m.
