Bio

A two-time coach of the year recipient in the West Coast Football League (WCFL) as well as a “Band” award winner (recognition for hard work), Mississippi native Stanley Burrage is enjoying his second season as defensive line coach and recruiting coordinator with the green and gold.

A product of Mississippi, Burrage began his playing career at Philadelphia High School in 2001 as a defensive end. Eight years later, he landed in California where he coached multiple back-to-back seasons at the semi-pro level before joining the staff at Van Nuys High, working under former USC standout Mike Williams.

In 2021, he served as a recruiting coordinator for the Mexican professional league Fam Yox (now called LFA - Liga de Football Americano).

Burrage holds an Associates in Recording Arts from Los Angeles Film & Recording School. The coach is happily married to Lourdes Burrage and together have three children – C'Ayrah, Jacob,  and Alana.
