Football Storms Back to Beat Victor Valley

VICTOR VALLEY, CA - The Los Angeles Valley College Football team came from behind on Saturday, September 16 to beat Victor Valley 23-18.

The Monarchs played a close first half with the Rams but found themselves down 18-10 at half time.

Defense was unbelievable the second half of the game, not allowing the Rams to enter the endzone.  Isaiah Paul was a gigantic part of the defense's success collecting two interceptions and a final tackle that sealed with win for the Monarchs.

This allowed the offense to take over and mount the comeback.  Harrison Bock caught a seven yard touchdown pass with just under 10 minutes to go in the game.  The Monarchs tried a two point conversion to tie the game but came up short, leaving the score 18-16.

With five minutes to go in the game, Graham Blubaugh (pictured) ran for a 54 yard touchdown which allowed the Monarchs to take and hold the lead in the game!

Blubaugh finished with a team leading 16 carries for 102 yards including his important, game winning touchdown.

What an incredible comeback win! Monarchs Football returns home Saturday, September 23 when they take on West LA at 1:00 p.m.
