Men's and Women's Swim and Dive Head to 3C2A State Meet May 2-4

LA Valley College Men's and Women's Swim and Dive teams will participate in the 3C2A State playoffs Thursday, Friday and Saturday, May 2-4, at Orange Coast College.

The Women's team had both swimmers and divers qualifiy for the State meet:

Mariane Avila qualified for the 200 and 400 Medley Relay.

Demy Brati will participate in the three Meter Dive

Zoey Francis qualified for the 200 and 400 Freestyle and Medley Relays.

Kyra Freemon will pull double-duty with the one and three Meter Dives, as well as the 200 and 400 Freestyle and Medley Relays.

Kelly Long qualified for the 400 IM and the 200 and 400 Freestyle Relays.

Lilliana Noriega will participate in the 50 and 100 Freestyle Races, the 100 Backstroke and 200 and 400 Freestyle and Medley Relays.

The Men and two swimmers qualified for the State meet:

Nick Zuniga qualified for the 500 Freestyle and 1650 Freestyle races.

Greg Carillo will race in the 400 IM.
