Athlete of the Week - 3/4

Congratulations to the Los Angeles Valley College Athlete of the Week, James Coker!

Last week, Coker came into the game against Irvine Valley with the Monarchs down 3-1.  Coker pitched four and one third innings - the sixth through the tenth innings - giving up just two hits and, most importantly, zero runs to the Lasers. His unbelievably clutch performance allowed the Monarchs to tie the game while he was pitching, and win the game in the 11th inning.

Incredible performance on the mound, Coker! Coker and the Monarchs return home for a Western State Conference game against Glendale on Thursday, March 7 at 2:00 p.m.
