Athletes of the Week - 2/27

Congratulations to the Los Angeles Valley College Athletes of the Week Lilliana Noriega and Nick Zuniga.

Women's Swimmer Noriega broke three school records, including two of her own, in Western State Conference Meet #1, last week. Her records helped the Monarchs finish first as a team in the meet.

Men's Swimmer Zuniga helped the Men's team also finish first as a team - he won the 200 freestyle and 1,650 freestyle races; and finished second in the 200 IM.

What an incredible start to the season for these Monarchs!  Keep it up Lilliana and Nick!
