Women's Basketball Coach Monica Hang Wins 300th Game

Women's Basketball Coach Monica Hang collected her 300th win in an 81-70 victory over College of the Canyons on February 3rd.

Coach Hang's career has spanned close to 20 years at LA Valley College.  Her first year as the Monarch's head coach came in the 2005-06 season.  Her first milestone win, 100, came in 2011.  It took just six more years for her to reach the next milestone of 200 wins in 2017. Seven years after 200, she has reached her next milestone of 300.

Over the span of these 300 wins Coach Hang has developed seven CCCWBCA All-State, 31 CCCWBCA Academic All-State, five Western State Conference Players of the Year, 38 Western State Conference All-Conference players, five Los Angeles Valley College Female Athletes of the Year, six Los Angeles Valley College Scholar Athletes, and six NCAA Division I student-athletes.
