Baseball started the day hitting the road to play Harbor College, beating the Seahawks 6-5, in a dramatic ninth inning comeback. Men's Basketball followed with a home win against Bakersfield, 81-71. The Monarchs jumped out to a lead and led the Renegades at the half.  In the second half of the game Bakersfield came within three points of the Monarch's lead, but the Men were able to pull away for the win.  Yah Humphrey led everyone with 23 points in the game, which included several incredibly strong drives to the basket.  Zyaun Lee had another double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds.  Khalil Forrester contributed 16 points of his own.

Women's Basketball completed the sweep with a 86-66 win over Bakersfield.  The Monarchs held the Renegades to just eight points in the first quarter.  By the time the Women got to the half, the Monarchs found themselves up 40-27.  Bakersfield came out of the half hot, though, and tied the game up 59-59 at one point in the third quarter.  As soon as that happened the Monarchs turned it on and pulled away on a 19-3 run to end the game.  Mary Corbett had a career high 34 points, including seven three pointers.  Madison Guerrero and Samantha Maldonado both had 17 points and were one rebound away from double-doubles.
