Athlete of the Week - 11/13

VALLEY GLEN - Congratulations to the Los Angeles Valley College Athletes of the Week, Kiele Torrance and Zoey Francis, for the week of November 13!

Kiele Torrance was an integral part of the Women's Soccer team finishing the 2023 fall season shutting out their last three opponents.  Torrance was a freshman center back who led the defense to keeping the ball out of the goal.  She did all this while playing with a broken finger!  What incredible perseverance and a well deserved honor!

Zoey Francis was the goal keeper for the Women's Water Polo team.  In the Monarch's Southern California Regional loss last week Francis saved 19 goals from being scored during the game. What an incredible finish for an outstanding Monarch sophomore. Well deserved honor, again, for Francis.

Both Women's Soccer and Women's Water Polo finished their seasons last week.  Incredible finishes Monarchs!
