Athletes of the Week - 10/16

Congratulations to the Los Angeles Valley College Athletes of the Week Andrea Martin and Christian Perez!

Andrea Martin got the honor for leading the Women's Soccer team in scoring last week.  She scored the lone goal in the 1-0 Monarchs win over West L.A.  Martin turned around later that week and scored two goals in the tough, 4-3 loss against Bakersfield.

Christian Perez kept the lead scorer theme going for the Men's Water Polo team last week.  He led the Monarchs in scoring in the 23-4 whooping of Santa Monica last Wednesday.

Women's Soccer returns home for a game against Canyons on Friday, October 20 at 4:00 p.m.  Men's Water Polo hosts Cuesta on Wednesday, October 18 at 3:00 p.m.
