Athletes of the Week - 9/25

Congratulations to the L.A. Valley College Athletes of the Week Zoey Francis and Jackson Fletcher!

Francis, a Women's Water Polo player, was incredible in goal for the Monarchs during the Golden West Tournament last week.  In the Monarchs win against East L.A. she had 11 saves.  She topped that double-digit save total with 18 in the 14-4 win aginst Cerritos.

Fletcher, apart of the Valley College Footbal team, led the defense in the Monarchs 23-17 win over West L.A.  He had six tackles in the game, one sack on the quarterback and interception he retured for a touchdown.  He was also named the Football team's defensive player of the week.

Way to represent the Monarchs Zoey and Jackson!  Keep it up Monarchs!
