Athlete of the Week 2/27 - Sean David

The Athlete of the Week for the week of February 27 is Baseball player Sean David!

David was the hero in the extra inning, 7-6 win over Irvine Valley last week.  He hit a home run in the top of the 11th inning to push the Monarchs to victory.  His home run wasn't the only good thing he did that day, though, David was 3-6 in the game with a double, two runs batted in and two runs scored.

David was also a huge part of the Monarchs Western State Conference opening win against West L.A. on Tuesday.  He was 2-4 with a double and team leading three runs batted in in the 8-0 win.

Congratulations Sean!  We can't wait to see what you continue to do this season!

Sean David and the Monarchs hit the road Thursday, March 9, to continue their series against West L.A. with a game at 2:00 p.m.  The Monarchs return home on Saturday, March 11 to finish the series with the Wildcats at 1:00 p.m.
