Athletes of the Week 1/23 - Jeffrey and Vo

The Los Angeles Valley College Athletes of the Week for the week of January 23, are basketball players Sargent Jeffrey and Leena Vo!

Sargent Jeffrey had a monster game in the loss to Canyons last week - he recorded a double-double scoring 19 points and grabbing 13 rebounds.  Jeffrey also had double-digit - 14 - rebounds in the loss to Bakersfield.

Leena Vo had a heroic game against Canyons - hitting the game winning shot, with just three seconds left in the game, in the 70-69 win over the Cougars! Vo had 15 points in the game, including the game winner. In the dominating win against Bakersfield, Vo had 11 points and six assists.
