Athletes of the Week - 1/16 - Forrester and Jiron

The Los Angeles Valley College Athletes of the Week for the week of January 16, are Khalil Forrester and Jordyn Jiron of Men's and Women's Basketball!

Khalil Forrester came off the bench in last week's 88-84 win over Santa Monica, leading the Monarchs to after being down by 15 points in the game. He scored 21 points and dished out eight assists to teammates to aid in the comeback.

Jordyn Jiron now has her second Athlete of the Week selection after an outstanding game in the overtime win against West L.A.  Jiron had a double-double in the game, scoring a team leading 23 points and giving out 10 assists.

Forrester and Jiron both travel to Bakersfield on Wednesday, January 25, to face the Renegades - the Women begin the day at 5:00 p.m. and the Men finish at 7:00 p.m.
