Athletes of the Week 1/9 - Parris and Brugna

The Monarch Athletes of the Week for the week of January 9 are Andre Parris and Emilie Brugna!

Andre Parris had a standout game against Glendale, scoring 22 points and collecting six rebounds in the Monarchs 75-57 victory.  Although he struggled to score, scoring only five, in the Citrus loss, he helped the Monarchs by collecting 13 rebounds.

Emilie Brugna had a great week of her own scoring in double figures during both Monarch's games last week.  In the loss to Glendale Brugna scored 10 points and collected two offensive rebounds that aided in the Monarchs almost comeback.  In the bounce back win against Citrus Brugna scored 10 points, grabbed four rebounds and had four assists.
