Baseball Hosts Second Round of 3C2A Playoffs

The Los Angeles Valley College Baseball team is set to host the second round of 3C2A playoffs on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, May 9-11.

This is a three team super regional between Valley, Saddleback College and Fullerton College.  Valley comes in with a record of 36-6 overall - they swept Cypress College in the first round to move into the second round.  Saddleback College beat Orange Coast College in three games to move on and comes in with a 26-16 overall record.  Fullerton College is 25-17 on the year and swept Pasadena City in two games to move on.

The schedule for the weekend will depend on who wins and who loses various games. All three teams will play their first games on Thursday, May 9 - Saddleback and Fullerton will play the first game of the series at 12:00 p.m.  LA Valley will play the loser of that game - it is currently schedule for 4:00 p.m. but depending on how long the first game goes, the second game will begin 90 minutes after the conclusion of the game between Saddleback and Fullerton.  Friday and Saturday's schedules will depend on how the games play out the rest of the way.
